Barba is a minimalist armchair created by Oslo-based designer Andreas Engesvik for Fogia. Named after the French word for candy floss and influenced by the classic cartoon characters, this is Barba, a series of upholstered furniture. The Barba sofa and armchair is compact but has a strong aesthetic expression, with proportions that gently hug and conform to the body. Great dimensions for relaxed dining as both the sofa and armchair can be used at a dining table.
Fromme Indoor is a minimalist chair created by Toronto-based designer Tom Chung. The project is an upholstered update to the Fromme Chair. Providing added comfort and a warmth of materials, the chair has been upholstered in a 100% recycled polyester Kvadrat Galaxy. Fromme borrows from the materials and principals of early 90’s mountain biking, as well as off road vehicles and ultra light camping gear. The aluminum chair was designed to create a light weight and tilt responsive seat, contrasted with an entirely rigid material construction. The seat pan is mounted to the central frame using high load polymer compression springs fastened with ball joint connectors. 4 points of even compression allow the sitter to gently tilt back and forth in order to readjust pressure points. With a fully knockdown construction, easy to clean anodized finish and stacking clearance; Fromme has been designed for high performance in indoor and outdoor contract environments.

New Sculptural Minimalism is a minimalist collection of designs created in collaboration between Maria Bruun and Pernille Andersen. Set designer Pernille Andersen and Furniture designer Maria Bruun join forces in the series ‘New Sculptural Minimalism’ to show their vision on giving danish design a new direction by adding a more bold yet minimalistic and playful feeling to their design. They are drawn towards new design horizons – to break free from old traditions and dogmas, using their own conceptual approach. They wanted to strip everything down to a minimum by using the non-space and very few materials. The photographic layout was essential to ad character and space to the story. The concept of the white sheet is a dream about creating everything and nothing out from “it”.
